Bob van Brederode’s industrial career in the plastic industry included 14 years at Exxon Chemical Company and 11 years at Reichhold/BP Chemical Company that took him around the world including a 2 year overseas assignment in London.

Mr. Van Brederode’s first visit to China was in 1986 where he was part of a 3 person BP Chemical team that successfully won a hard fought competition to be a joint venture partner with a Chinese chemical company for a large investment project near Shanghai.

After London, Mr. Van Brederode worked for 9 years at NC State University and for 8 years, at NC Commerce in the International Trade Division where he specialized in helping NC's plastic and chemical companies develop new products and find export opportunities.  For 6 years he led groups of NC plastic companies to China to find export development opportunities.

Mr. Van Brederode obtained his BS.ChE. and Ph.D. Chemical Engineering degrees from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.

Mr. Frank Liang has over 13 years of experience in the fields of research and development in fine chemicals, switchgear, transformers as well as plastics industries.

 Mr. Liang deeply understands the culture and business worlds of the U.S. and China, he has very solid experience, knowledge, and extensive business connections in fine chemical field in China. His strong background and business connections have successfully assisted and greatly benefited Rohm & Haas, ABB, Areva as well as other foreign companies in developing business opportunities in China.

Mr. Liang has worked at the Business Incubator for Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College in NC, U.S.A. During that time, he successfully assisted many local American companies to search and set up business partnership and connections with Chinese companies.
